How Courierify collects, uses, and protects the data of merchants and their customers.
Courierify is a Shopify application developed and operated by GrowZar. Courierify provides order management, courier booking, WhatsApp automation, and logistics analytics services for Shopify merchants, with a primary focus on Pakistani ecommerce businesses.
When we refer to "Courierify," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean GrowZar and its Courierify application. When we refer to "you" or "merchant," we mean the Shopify store owner who has installed Courierify.
In short: Courierify is a Shopify app. We access your Shopify store data only as needed to provide the services you've subscribed to. We do not sell your data.

We process your customers' data (names, phone numbers, delivery addresses) solely on your behalf to provide the services you've configured — such as booking courier shipments and sending WhatsApp notifications. We act as a data processor for your customers' data; you remain the data controller.
We collect anonymised usage data about how Courierify features are used to improve the product. This does not include personally identifiable information about you or your customers.

Courierify requests only the Shopify API scopes necessary to provide its services. These include read and write access to orders, fulfillments, and customers (for shipment booking and status sync). We do not request access to scopes we do not need.
Our use of Shopify API data is governed by the Shopify API Terms of Service and the Shopify Privacy Policy.
Courierify's WhatsApp automation uses the Official WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta. When you use this feature:

We retain your data for as long as your Courierify account is active. If you uninstall Courierify from your Shopify store, we will retain your data for a period of 90 days to allow for potential reinstallation and continuity, after which it is permanently deleted unless legal obligations require longer retention.

For your customers' data (over which you are the controller), you are responsible for handling data subject requests from your customers. Courierify will assist you in fulfilling these obligations as your data processor.

Courierify is a business-to-business service intended for use by adults operating ecommerce businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Courierify after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
